In the first six months of this year, Gazprom increased its gas exports to Europe by 2.8% as compared with the same period of 2013 to 82.88 billion cubic meters, head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller reported to journalists.
"The supplies of gas from Russia to Europe continue to grow. In the first half of 2014, Gazprom supplied 82.88 billion cubic meters of gas abroad. The growth made up 2.8% as compared to the same period of the past year, even taking into account the fact that 2013 was a record year in the company’s history. This clearly shows that foreign consumers continue to choose Russian gas,"- said Miller.
