In 2015, Belorusneft to start exploration of oil deposits at its assets in Russia

Belorusneft should be more active in exploration of oil deposits at areas of Yangpur – its subsidiary in West Siberia. This conclusion was made by participants of the June technical-and-economic meeting of the subsidiary’s specialists, the company’s press centre reported.

It is a question of study of the most promising structures of the Izvestinsky license area – the Rozhdestvenskaya and Vostochno-Yuzhnaya. These works were decided to be started in 2015. Five wells will be drilled at the first stage. Besides, a timetable for sidetracking at Yangpur in 2014-2015 was approved. It is expected that in this period 7 well operations will be carried out at the Osennee, Izvestinskoye and East Izvestinskoye fields.
