Tomskneft has started the development of Ponzhevoi and Protochny deposits

​Tomskneft  OJSC has started the experimental development of the Ponzhevoi and Protochny oil deposits located in the Kargasoksky and Alexandrovsky districts of the Tomsk region.

The project of development presupposes the construction of extraction and injection wells. In the process of experimental development the research works will be held as well as the perspectives of the deposits will be made, geological structure of layers will be specified.

The Ponzhevoi deposit was discovered in 1983, the Protochny deposit – in 1978. Their total recoverable ABC1+C2 reserves make up about 3 mln tons of oil.

The recovery of the resource base is the priority goal for Tomskneft. In 2014 the enterprise put 3 deposits into operation: Shirotny, Moiseevsky and West-Karasevsky.
