Kazakhstan’s Government to provide oil companies with tax benefits to maintain production

The Kazakh Government will provide tax breaks to oil companies to save their production and jobs, the country’s Minister of Energy Vladimir Shkolnik reported.

"The Ministry of Energy, together with the economic block of the Government, has analyzed the financial condition of all subsoil users. Work is carried out to develop proposals which include measures to change the tax burden on oil companies," - said Shkolnik.
