Over Br868 bln invested into modernization of oil refinery plants in Belarus in January-February

​The investment into the oil processing in January-February 2016 made up over Br868 bln, Belneftechem reports.

In H1 2016 the units of production of high-octane components of petrol and utilization of gas containing hydrogen sulfide will be put into operation at the Mozyr oil refinery plant as well as the construction of a C4 butane fraction adsorption cleaning unit will be completed.
Naftan OJSC plans to complete the construction of a primary oil processing unit with the capacity of 6 mln tons a year, units on hydrogen and sulfur production, and complete the reconstruction of a water cleaning unit #2.

Large –scale projects of implementation of a delayed coking oil residue unit at Naftan and a unit of hyrocraking of heavy oil residue at the Mozyr oil refinery are at the active stage. They are planned to be realized until 2020. As a result of the oil processing depth will reach 88-89%, output of light oil products – 63%. The production of light oil products meeting the European standard will increase and the total volume of saleable grease oil will fall. Naftan OJSC will produce new products: oil coke and elementary sulfur.
