Aluminium associations of China and Russia to sign a partnership agreement in June 2016

The aluminium associations of Russia and China have agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation directed for the development of the aluminium sector, the aluminium associations of Russia reports.
The agreement is planned to be signed in June 2016. One of the directions of partnership will be the development in Russia of free economic zones to support the aluminium industry, including the “Aluminium Valley”, a special economic zone in the Krasnoyarsk region. Another sphere of possible cooperation is the foundation of JVs on the production of aluminium goods of high value.
On the results of the meeting a working group will be formed, the participants of which will work out a project of the partnership agreement between the associations.
