Kazakhstan not to hurry to join TAPI gas pipeline

Information about the joining Kazakhstan to the project of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline is premature, the Head of the Kazakh Ministry of External Affairs E.Idrisov stated.

“Within my recent visit to India, where this project was discussed, some mass media shared the message that Kazakhstan was ready to join the TAPI project and would lay the pipe from India to Kazakhstan. It is far from true,” – E.Idrisov noted. But, according to him, Kazakhstan supports this project.
