In January – February, the Ukraine reduced gas imports by 23.2% to 4.7 billion cubic m, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reports. The state buys gas mostly in Russia and has been trying to modify gas contracts with Russia for several years. It also looks for alternative supply sources.
