The First Vice President of Rosneft E. Khudainatov has been appointed to the post of the CEO of Itera NGK. He has been also elected to the post of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Itera NGK. I. Perekoop has become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Itera Group LLC.
In 2012, Rosneft closed the transaction for purchase of 51% in Itera NGK LLC. In November 2012, the chief of Rosneft I. Sechin claimed that Itera could become the operator of all gas assets of the company.
