Kazatomprom and Toshiba to go into rare metals
Edited by Rhod Mackenzie / 2011-09-30 06:25:28Kazatomprom Corporation (Kazakhstan) and Toshiba (Japan) have established a joint enterprise for carrying out investigation and the development, production and sale of rare metasl, rare earth products and materials. It was registered on September 21, 2011. The joint enterprise is aimed at the creation of a vertically-integrated company for the manufacture of rare metal and rare earth high value added products. The share of Kazatomprom in a new JV makes up 51%, Toshiba – 49%. The main office of the JV will be located in Astana. Read more »
