Azerbaijan: nothing private in decision on pipeline to Europe, just business

Trans-Adriatic pipeline was recently chosen for the second stage of the project implementation at the field Shah Deniz instead of the Nabucco West pipeline - 16 billion cubic meters of gas a year will be transported to European countries via this pipeline – the russian.eurasianet.org writes.
Like the character of the opera of the same name, the Nabucco pipeline, which was the leading alternative for the transportation of natural gas from Azerbaijan to Europe, was "gone around on the turn" and hurlted from its heights.
